We’ve spent years making memories in Bethany, and these are the spots our family returns to again and again. Whether you’re craving breakfast, ice cream, or a fun dinner out, here are our personal favorites - plus a few extras we love.

Bryce’s Top 5

  1. Bad Monkey - Breakfast and brewery towards Ocean City… Bryce loves the complimentary monkey bread. the breakfast tacos, and cinnamonkey pancakes.
  2. Kohr Bros - Frozen custard, the closest location is in downtown Bethany. Bryce recommends the vanilla/peanut butter stack. Another sweet treat option is Fenwick Ice’s food truck.
  3. Jimmy’s Kitchen - Bryce loves breakfast out. Jimmy’s Kitchen is towards Fenwick in one of the shopping centers on the right. Bryce thinks they have the best biscuits in the world, but get there early.
  4. DiFebos Market - Bryce loves the Sicilian pizza and Chicken Parmesan Panini. Definitely grab something from the bakery too. Bryce’s favorite is the mini blueberry pies, if you eat there ask them to warm it up and get a scoop of their Madagascar Vanilla ice cream to go with it.
  5. Sandy Pony Donuts - Made to order cake donuts in two locations in Bethany. Bryce loves the Porky Pony - check out the mural in the downtown location and grab a cool Bethany Beach hat.

Trey’s Top 5

  1. Fin’s Raw Bar in the Sea Colony Marketplace is at the top of Trey’s list. He always goes for the Crab Legs in the off season. Their off season specials are the best, consider booking a stay with us in the off season.
  2. Shore Fun Family Fun Center is an arcade on the 2nd floor of the Bethany Town Center. Stop in for some air hockey or skee ball.
  3. Grotto Pizza is a Delaware favorite and one of Trey’s too. Grab some takeout after a long day at the beach or eat there. Just down the road on 26.
  4. Salted Rim - Trey loves all the appetizer specials at the Salted Rim during happy hour. They have a huge menu and everything is good. They have a fun vibe with entertaining things always happening; live music, the big games on, holiday decorations, and more. Head down 26 in Millville.
  5. Bethany Blues - Trey loves all the bbq meats at Bethany Blues, we recommend making reservations online if you want to dine in. It’s located in downtown Bethany. Their Sunday Brunch is a favorite of Trey’s and the whole family, the cornbread pancakes are something special. We also like to order the BBQ Family Pack for take out with an extra side of cornbread.

Boys’ Honorable Mention

If you have kids in your group, Trey and Bryce recommend making a trip one evening to Funland on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk. The boardwalk games are so fun with reasonable prices. They also love the atmosphere and ocean views at Mango’s for dinner out - located right on Bethany’s boardwalk.

Stacy’s Top 5

  1. Northeast Seafood Kitchen has been around but a new fave for me. Their surf and turf and oatmeal pie is my go to. Down the road on 26 but definitely make a reservation.
  2. Food Trucks at T-4 Aquatic Center - My favorite is the chicken tenders and fries from Tipsy Flamingo. Make sure to check the schedule. It’s a fun pool with splash pad for little ones, too.
  3. Sunshine Crepes - This place is a family favorite. I always go for a crepe with fruit but the boys love the Staff’s Favorite. Also, check out Sunshine Baguette (it’s a couple shops down in the Bethany Town Center); it is a gourmet grab and go.
  4. Bethany Beach Books - I love to read at the beach and this bookstore is so fun to browse or feel free to borrow some of our favorites that we have around the house.
  5. Summer Salts Beach Grill - is located in the Sea Colony Marketplace so you can ride bike or walk there. The Southwest Chicken Wrap with zucchini fries is my favorite. Their service can operate on beach time :) so plan accordingly for a slower paced meal.

Honorable Mention

Millville Boardwalk - Down route 26 is the Millville Boardwalk which includes Agape Creamery with various live entertainment, mini-golf, and an arcade. Ladies, check out the cute boutique across the street, Prickly Gal.

Looking for a special date night celebration, I recommend dinner at Sedona.

Sam’s Top 5

  1. A Touch of Italy - Sam recommends the chicken parm. They have locations in Rehoboth and Ocean City.
  2. Old Pro Golf is a great mini golf option with two indoor mini golf courses towards Ocean City. Their theming is so well done and fun - rain or shine.
  3. Bethany Diner is a go to for Sam, breakfast is a fave but a great option for lunch and dinner too.
  4. Sea Colony Tennis Center is one of Sam’s favorite parts of Sea Colony. Check out the merch/apparel, reserve a court for rainy day fun, or enjoy indoor tennis and pickleball in the off season.
  5. Ba Roos Ice Cream and Coffee Sam loves that Ba Roos is located conveniently in the Marketplace at the front of Sea Colony. You can grab an açaí bowl on the way to the beach or get an ice cream treat without going into downtown Bethany. He loves the peanut butter ripple with peanut butter sauce.
